Most astrology apps ask a language model to sound like an astrologer. We compute the chart first, then let the AI explain only what the maths already says.
Why we built it
Vedic astrology has a genuine computational core — planetary positions, dashas, yogas and divisional charts all follow from precise rules applied to the sky at a moment in time. Two practitioners working from the same birth details should arrive at the same chart.
What is sold online usually skips that entirely. A sun-sign horoscope is one paragraph shared by everyone born in a month-long window. An AI chatbot with no ephemeris behind it will confidently describe a Mars placement that does not exist in your chart. Both are guessing, and neither tells you it is guessing.
How a reading is produced
Every reading goes through three stages, in this order:
- Astronomy. Planetary longitudes are computed to the arcsecond for your exact birth moment and place, using the Swiss Ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsa.
- Classical rules. Those positions pass through the traditional Jyotish rule sets — house lordships, dignities, Vimshottari dasha, yoga and dosha detection, Shadbala and Ashtakavarga strength, and the divisional charts.
- Explanation. Only then does the AI write. It is given the computed facts and is constrained to explain them — it cannot introduce a placement, a yoga or a date the engine did not produce.
That ordering is the whole design. It is why the chat can tell you which dasha you are running and have it match the reading on your chart page exactly: both are reading the same computed result, not improvising separately.
What we are honest about
The astronomy is science. The interpretation is a tradition. We do not blur the two, and we think a service that pretends otherwise is not worth building.
So: readings show their working, confidence is stated rather than implied, and we do not claim to predict the future. A reading is a lens for reflection. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, and we say so in the terms rather than in fine print.
We also do not sell remedies, gemstones or pujas, and we take no commission from anyone who does. Where a traditional remedy is mentioned, it is because the classical rule set names it — not because there is a product attached.
Your data
You can get a complete reading without an account, and nothing is stored unless you sign in or save it. Your name and phone number are never sent to the AI provider. The details are in our Privacy Policy, written to be read rather than to satisfy a lawyer.
