Privacy Policy

• You can get a full birth chart reading without an account. Nothing is stored on our servers unless you sign in or save something.
• We never sell your data, and we do not run advertising.
• Your name, phone number and email are never sent to the AI provider — only the computed facts about your chart.
• You can ask us to delete everything, and we will.

Birth details — name, date, time and place of birth. These are what the astrological engine computes from. Without a time and place there is no chart, so this is the one thing the product genuinely cannot work without.

Account details — your mobile number, if you choose to sign in. We use it to identify your account and to send the one-time password. We do not send marketing SMS.

What you save — saved charts, family members you add, your questions to the AI astrologer and its answers, and your settings such as language and chart style.

Usage data — which pages and features were used, and whether an action succeeded or failed. This is how we find bugs. It is not linked to advertising.

Payment details — handled entirely by Razorpay. We receive a confirmation and a subscription identifier. We never see or store your card number.

• To compute your chart and produce readings — the service you asked for.
• To keep your charts and history available across your devices and after a reinstall.
• To take payment and manage a subscription, where you buy one.
• To keep the service working: diagnosing errors, preventing abuse and rate-limiting.
• To meet legal and tax obligations for transactions.

We use a small number of service providers. Each receives only what its job requires:

Some of these providers process data outside India. We use them because they are the practical choice for a service of this size, not because your data has to leave the country to be useful.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

• Account data and saved charts: until you delete them, or until you ask us to close your account.
• Chat history: until you clear it, which you can do at any time from the app.
• Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, which is currently eight years in India.
• Usage data: retained in aggregate; individual event records are removed after 24 months.

If you used the site without an account, there is nothing on our servers to delete — your chart was computed and returned to your browser, not stored against an identity.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Write to TODO_SUPPORT_EMAIL and we will respond within 30 days.

Deleting your account removes your saved charts, chat history and settings. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to the production database is restricted, and row-level security is enabled on every table holding user data. One-time passwords are never written to our logs.

No service can promise it will never be breached. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires, rather than waiting for it to be discovered.

JyotiMitra is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.

If we change how data is used in a way that affects you, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
